In what follows, the displayed links are quality websites and directories. We strongly recommend them.

The websites in red represent the worst of the Web.

They are likely to erase your links shortly after an exchange agreement - early enough to leave no time for the search engines to take them into account. While your link to them increases their PR, it also lowers yours. Moreover, some crooks only give you the illusion of listing your website. Their links are coded in Javascript or Php, which most spiders do not read, yet indexing is the only thing that matters. Still, another technique consists in hiding your link, which can only be found on a specific search; Thus, the spiders never see it. As a consequence of these bad practices, your website popularity indices remains low. Nevertheless, the bad directories require a hard copy link from you, when not 2 or 3, in exchange for only your illusions.

From a Popularity Ranking measure point of view, mass numbers one way links are counter productive. The bad directories and websites dispossess you of 1 or 2 PR points depending on the number of links you have set towards them. This is just like transferring 30 to 70% of your visitors directly to them. Did you not engage in this link exchange process to increase your traffic? Avoid these guys like the plague. • The links page must be linked from the main index page to speed up the listing process.

• The websites and subdomains must not belong to the "XXX" classification, nor should they be blacklisted by the search engines.
• A link that is not acknowledged by the search engines within 4 months is of no value and erased (6 months for brand new websites.)
• Because the link exchange management requires a lot of work and efforts, we expect each link exchange deal to last a minimum of 1 year.
